DEVIL’S PUNCHBOWL, HINDHEAD - full day ride – with the possibility of a standard half day option (keep an eye on the forum for updates)

The best car park to use in the Hindhead area is the free car park in Grayshott - easy to find, with loos and next to a pub!  Head up the A3 but do not go through the tunnel. Instead, take the exit that will lead into Hindhead (the old A3 trunk road where it bottlenecked after the dual carriageway south of Hindhead narrowed down to two lanes) where a few hundred yards in advance of the Hindhead traffic lights cross roads, there is a left turn signposted to Grayshott. Go through Grayshott village past the Fox and Pelican pub and the car park is on the right (sign posted).  There are a couple of other car parks in the village if required. We will ride away from here for a day of fun in the area around the Devil’s Punch Bowl with some stiff climbs and some great descents. This area is always worth a visit so we hope to take the full benefit of the routes on offer.
