Jalfrezi Thursday 23rd Jan

Post by KeithW » Sun Jan 19, 2020 10:26 pm

Forest Inn, Ashurst, ride off at 6:30.
Have you seen the weather forecast? A completely dry week for the first time since dog knows when and not even too cold. It's going to be lush out there.
No cake this week but no excuses either.
There's nothing worse than a reformed former derailleur owner..............

I intend to join you in singlespeeding through the luxuriant grasslands and verdant forestry that you advertise.
Is this period of no rain, what they call "Dry January"?

I will be out.
Do you think I should bring a bike with gears if we are going to be on fast dry trails ;-)

Fellow by the name of Rich Gutteridge plans to join either this or the Tikka this Thursday - I'm not sure which, but pls look out for him. He's just in the area for a week.

I don't have (working) gears, following some mystery incident at weekend. Think its the hanger now but out-of-stock anyway. Hate to be out with dodgy gears and no spare hanger!
