Club rider passes away

Hi Fellow Members
I have received some sad news today about Phil Nightingale who many of you will remember as a keen rider and firm supporter of the Club who would be seen regularly on our Sunday meetings.
I am distressed to learn that he suffered a massive heart attack and died on 14 January 2021. Apparently there are still ongoing tests to try and establish what caused the heart attack because he was thought to be very fit, biking, running and generally being very active.
His cremation is arranged for Tuesday 23rd February this week but due to the current restrictions on gatherings, there is no opportunity to attend so I will be taking a moment of personal quiet refelction in respect for the memory of Phil and his genial disposition.
